Shanghai Songjiang President Enterprises Co. Ltd was incorporated in May 2001. It has a total investment of US $12 million. Located in the Songjiang Export Processing Zone, the company has access to both land and water traffic.

The company has installed state of the art extrusion and cooking systems from Wenger in the US, and pelletizing and cooking facilities from UMT in the UK. Combined with fully computerized ingredient control system, Shanghai Songjiang President has become an integrated and professional aquatic feed processing plant with high production efficiency and product quality.

The company further adopts the advanced research and production technologies for aquatic feed products from Uni-President Taiwan to develop a complete series of aquatic feed products. The products comprise four categories. Both the extruded and cooked sinking feed and floating feed are for salt water fish, fresh water fish, bass, eels, frog, and turtles. The extruded and cooked pet food is for dogs and cats. The cooked pellet feed is for shrimp, crab, fresh water fish and more.

In March 2003, Shanghai Songjiang President further installed a complete set of equipment from Italy to produce mixed ingredients. The company has developed its own 1% ~ 5% premixed feeds for pigs, chicken, cows and ducks. In addition, a 20% concentrated feed has also been developed. The company is heading towards developing products with high economic value.

Shanghai Songjiang President’s products are sold throughout the city of Shanghai, and the provinces of Jiangsu, Anhuei, Hunan, Hubei, Zhejiang, and Fujian. The high quality products and excellent services provided satisfy the needs of farmers, and as a result, the company successfully developed a market for its animal and aquatic feed products in east China. Moreover, China’s economic upheaval gives the company an opportunity to devote itself to develop dried pet food products under the brand “Petlife” to sell throughout the nation.
