What it symbolized:
This was the logo used during the initial stage of Uni-President Corporation’s foundation. Right in the middle of the logo were the morphed characters of “Uni-President” in Chinese, and the characters were surrounded by two ears of wheat. When Uni-President was initially founded, feed and flour were the only products, and wheat was the essential ingredient for both. Back then, Uni-President’s corporate slogan was “Food precedes everything else”, and the wheatear represented itself as the primary raw material used in the company’s products. The symmetrical wheatears on both sides conveyed the image of wheat flour and animal food as Uni-President’s main line of products and the company’s corporate philosophy of insistence on quality, perfection and the protection of consumers’ rights.




What it symbolized:
A rectangular frame with rounded corners was used as a background to complement the original logo, whose color had been highlighted in white. The bird of happiness was added to the upper right hand corner of the logo, symbolizing soaring peace and communication with the public. The logo and the words of Uni-President Corporation blended into one harmonious color block, creating a soft, exquisite yet rich look.


What it symbolized:
In 1983, Uni-President Corporation was ranked as one of the top ten corporations of Taiwan with product prevalence reaching to practically every household across the island. It has always been Uni-President’s hope to bring the delights of vigor, kindness and happiness into the lives of people. In order to reflect this in its corporate logo, a rectangular frame was added to the circular logo to make the image appear firmer. A ribbon was added to the logo at the across the left side to emphasis the bird of happiness, representing the happiness that Uni-President products bring to consumers. It was also the first time that Uni-President’s corporate slogan of “Creating a Healthy and Happy Future” appeared in its logo, thus completing Uni-President’s Corporate Identity System (CIS).


What it symbolized:
In light of international and diversified management policies, and to prepare for the arrival of the 21st century, Uni-President has given its corporate logo a complete overhaul. The new logo reflects various improvements in its visual identifying traits and visual cues of the company’s different functions in product manufacturing, pricing and contributions to our society.

Uni-President’s corporate logo is derived from the initial “ P ” of the English word “PRESIDENT”.

The three oblique lines as the wings and soaring body stand for Uni-President’s brand spirit of “Three Goods” and “One Fairness” (namely: Good quality, Good credibility, Good services and Fairness). In addition, the logo also suggests Uni-President’s corporate foundation of benevolence, sincerity and confidence in serving consumers with trustworthy commodities and services, signifying constant innovation and breakthrough in its products.
The flat wings at the base of the logo symbolize stability, virtue and honesty.
The entire motif of the logo represents excellence, soaring spirits, peace and progress towards a healthy and blissful future.
